Falls Church, Va., — July 28, 2025 — Computer World Services, Corp. (CWS), a leader in secure, mission-critical software solutions, announced today that it has achieved “Awardable” status through the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) Platform One (P1) Solutions Marketplace for its identity automation capabilities.
The P1 Solutions Marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, 5-minute long readily awardable pitch videos, which address the Government’s greatest requirements in hardware, software, and service solutions.
Developed by CWS at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Headquarters, Project NEO is a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 9, production-grade solution that fully automates lifecycle management across DISA. Project NEO integrated multiple technologies — including ServiceNow workflows and machine-to-machine connections — into SailPoint to eliminate the delays and vulnerabilities caused by manual user onboarding and offboarding.
“CWS is honored to be recognized as a trusted contributor to the DoD Platform One Solutions Marketplace,” said James Gregory, CWS Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
“Our collaboration with the Federal Government on Project NEO reflects a shared commitment to modernizing and streamlining critical identity lifecycle management processes and Cybersecurity. Project NEO focuses on automating the provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts in onboarding and offboarding workflows.”
“The impact of our solution is both immediate and measurable: it accelerates user access provisioning, virtually eliminates manual data entry errors, and ensures accurate, timely assignment of roles and least privileges. These capabilities directly enhance operational readiness and Zero Trust Architecture, and support mission-critical productivity across federal environments.”
CWS was recognized among a competitive field of applicants to the P1 Solutions Marketplace whose solutions demonstrated innovation, scalability, and potential impact on DoD missions.
Solving Identity at Scale for the DoD
Project NEO addresses a longstanding challenge in DoD Information Technology (IT) operations: manual, inconsistent, and error-prone identity processes. By synchronizing with authoritative systems such as Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS), Project NEO enables automated provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts — including military, civilian, and contractor personnel — within hours rather than days or weeks.
This end-to-end, policy-driven automation improves both security posture and workforce productivity. At DISA, Project NEO has already saved hundreds of labor hours and eliminated manual errors, reinforcing core Zero Trust principles like least privilege access and audit readiness.
Unlike traditional identity access management (IAM) tools or piecemeal scripting efforts, Project NEO delivers:
- Enterprise-scale automation across the full identity lifecycle
- Seamless integration with existing DoD systems and workflows
- Consistent credentialing at all echelons and onboarding locations
- Support for secure onboarding and offboarding of all user types
